theyre generally all really strong trainers, like elite four or champion level, theyve all volunteered at pokemon shelters or rehabilitation centers before

u think he wouldnt like bug types much cuz theyre super effective on grass types but 1. leavanny is also part grass 2. since he loves grass types and hes got flower/plant-like aura bug types rly like him ! especially cutiefly since theyre known to fly around people with flower-like auras
probably volunteered at pokemon centers at some point, maybe he still does? he and madara have a rather large house in one of the more populated cities, they own a garden that grows lots of berries and regular flowers, including the flowers that produce the nectar that changes oricorios forms.

izuna is like...a world traveller half the time, a teacher half the time. he does a little thing called What He Wants. he loves travelling and visiting other regions and meeting new pokemon and people. when hes back home hes actually a really good teacher at the trainers' school. he goes off on a lot of tangents and sometimes his demonstrations of fire type attacks burn down his own desk.
